Year in review

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I thought I'd post a Christmas letter, even though a blog is like a great big Christmas letter year round. For those who may not follow our blog on a regular basis, here we go.

Randy: No longer commuting to SLC, as of January last year has been exclusively working in Wyoming. Started Mountain West Business Solutions in the spring, it covers western Wyoming, which means a lot of driving, but much happier doing it. Loves being around more and can schedule things around the kids things, which we all love. Also had his big 'four 0' birthday in July, which I neglected to celebrate properly, maybe because mine was only a month away and was hoping it would be forgotten.

Janet: Busy chasing after everyone, and loving every minute of it. Serving as Primary president. Working, a little, don't ask Randy, it's not easy having your husband as a boss. Adjusting to diapers and lack of sleep again. Trying not to feel as old as I am. And yes turned 40 too.

Will: Taller than mom, just hoping he passes up dad. Turned 16 in September, now dating and driving. Got his Drivers License the day Zoe was born. Sophmore, loves not being a freshman, JV quarterback, had 2 surgeries within 3 months (scoped elbow, and pinned finger) glad to be done with that. Knee deep in basketball now. Still manages to be a great student.

Mackenzee: Big time high schooler (too young in moms opinion). 14 in July, now able to attend Stake Dances. Enjoyed volleyball, basketball, and track this year. Has turned texting into an art form. Social butterfly. Second mom, at least when home.

Jesse: Just turned 11, glad to be an 11 year old scout. Baller of every kind. Had a big wreck this summer (refer to previous post for details) and glad he recovered so quickly. 5th grader, wearing Will's 8th grade clothes. Big, Big help to mom.

Bridger: 9 years old now. Growing up fast. Gamer of every kind, xbox, n64, ds, whatever. Lego maniac, loved our summer trip to Legoland! Dad's clone. Has a hollow leg. Keeps us laughing.

Mia: Smart little kindergartener. Almost 6. Loves riding the bus. Does not love getting her hair done. Does not love sleeping in her own bed. Does not like to eat, but loves to drink, even loves egg nog. Mom's little buddy, and a super big sister!

Zoe: Highlight of 2009 (September 30). Apple of everyone's eye. No, not a surprise. 13 weeks old. Allergic to dairy and ??????. Much happier now that we know. Goat milk lover. Not the longest sleeper yet. Yummiest little thing!

Here's wishing you a great holiday season, after all, "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE"
